Scott & Stephanie ~ Ulua Beach, Wailea

Scott & Stephanie were married yesterday at Ulua Beach in Wailea. I loved the colors and details at this intimate beach wedding. Ulua beach had quite a few beach goers but once Stephanie began her walk down the sandy isle all eyes were on her. She looked radiant. Scott’s father married them under a beautifully draped bamboo covering as friends, family and beach goers all watched. We have had quite a bit of rain lately but the rain subsided for their day and we had a warm sunset. Scott and Stephanie were so nice to work with. They gave Joanna and I lots of time for portraits which is always nice. About sunset the headed up to the Marriot for a nice reception dinner. Thank you two for having us capture your special day. I wish you much happiness and many fun adventures as husband and wife..

Some vibrant details…

Milliken & Binns Families…

I had the pleasure of meeting up with the Milliken & Binns families last Sunday at Napili Bay on the west side of the island. Our weather has been a bit rainy the past few weeks but we were so pleased to have a dry day for photos. Everyone was great to work with. Thank you guys for meeting up with me! I hope that the rest of you time in the islands was filled with fun, a bit of sun and laughter! We photographed a bunch of different family combinations…here are a few of my favorites…

Terrance & Melissa ~ Westin, Kaanapali

Terrance and Melissa were married yesterday at the beautiful Westin Villas in Kaanapali. They had an intimate ceremony for just the two of them. We were the only guests! After the ceremony we met at the Napili Kai Resort for some beach photos at the stunning Napili Bay. We had a lovely sunset and breezy trade winds. It turned out to be a wonderful evening. Terrance and Melissa had a private dinner awaiting them overlooking Napili Bay. Congratulations you two. Thank you for having Joanna and I capture you special day.

I also wanted to thank Joanna for all the help she has given me this past year. She has a wonderful “eye” and I am so thankful that we have been able to help each other on so many events.

Chris, Analynne, Cyrus & Sire ~ Kamaole II Beach

I had the pleasure of working with Chris & Analynne at Kamaole II Beach in Kihei. I have photographed quite a few events for their family including their wedding a year ago and their engagement session . It was really nice to work with them again. The boys are getting so big! Cyrus & Sire were so well behaved and smiled non stop for me :) I am so glad that we had nice weather. A storm had just passed and we were left with a lovely sunset. Thank you guys for having me capture more family memories for you…

A few funny ones…

Charlie, Erica & Sarah

I was so happy to photograph my good friends this morning. We met at Sprecks Beach bright and early. I was worried that the weather wouldn’t cooperate as we are expecting a storm either today or tomorrow…well it was beautiful! We started out with a few family portraits. Sarah is such a sweetie, so mellow and happy. I could photograph her all day. We were able to get a few maternity portraits of Erica as well. I think there is nothing more beautiful than a full, pregnant belly at the beach :)

It is always so fun to share what I do with my friends and family. It brings me so much joy to see them smile. Thank you Charlie, Erica and Sarah for spending the morning with me…
