Josh & Rina were married at Olowalu Plantation House on a breezy, warm afternoon. I was so excited to photograph their special day.. I have known Josh & Rina & their families for quite a few years. There is nothing better then being with your friends on the happiest day of their lives, getting to photograph it too..well that is awesome! Their engagement session was epic..it was my 1st underwater shoot, so I knew their wedding day would be fabulous. I arrived as Rina was having her make up done out on the lanai of the house..such a beautiful bride! We started with some detail shots & getting ready..I loved her sparkly pink shoes! Josh was busy greeting guests outside as they arrived and making sure all the preparations were as planned..everything looked perfect. Rina and Josh both seemed so calm & ready for their much anticipated day to begin. A fun group of family and friends looked on as Josh & Rina said their vows, exchanged rings and finally became husband & wife. It was such a sweet ceremony. After a few family portraits we walked around the grounds for some romantic photos of the two of them. It was so easy to capture their fun & vibrant smiles..they made my job easy. After their entrance into their reception Rina danced a surprise hula for her new husband. Such a sweet moment. Everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner, watched a slideshow and danced late into the evening.. such a great day! Thank you so much Rina & Josh for having me photograph your wedding day! I know you two will have many more adventures & a ton of fun in your life together & I am so happy that I was there to capture the beginning =)

Paul & Trang tied the knot In Beautiful Hana, Maui..one of my all time favorite places. There is just something truly special about Hana. I am not sure if it the small town vibe, friendly faces or just the splendid beauty of the ocean and green fields. Something about Hana makes you feel so peaceful, warm & happy. When I arrived Trang was just about complete with her hair & makeup .. She looked stunning, such an elegant bride. We headed to the Hana Hotel where the ceremony would be held on the black lava rocks over looking the ocean. Paul and his family were waiting for the ceremony to begin. They said their I do’s surrounded by an intimate group of family & friends as the waves crashed onto the rocks and made a beautiful misty air. After the ceremony we went on a little photo taking adventure. We headed to Koki Beach, a red sand beach as well as a very lovely black sand beach near Hana Town. Paul & Trang were so much fun to work with. Their love for each other was so effortless to capture. Thank you so much for having us as part of your day, Paul & Trang! We wish you many more years of love, happiness & adventure as husband & wife. Many thanks to Nate for his help, Alana with Hana Wedding Company for her fabulous coordinating & Dot’s Social Club for the lovely Hair & Makeup..

I had the pleasure of working with Tim & Jen on 11-11-11 at the beautiful Makena Resort on the south side of the island. We met up the day before their wedding to talk about photo locations and walk around the resort. I was so excited to work with these two. I could just tell they were going to be a fun couple to photograph..The day of the wedding was a blue, breezy afternoon. I met up with Jen just as she was finishing up her makeup ..the room was abuzz with nervous, excitement. Jen looked beautiful! Her mom helped her get into her gown & after a few portraits we headed to the Makena resort for 1st look photos.  Tim was anxiously awaiting our arrival in the garden..First look moments are so special to capture on camera. After a few portraits we were ready for the ceremony to begin. The said their I do’s on the lawn overlooking Maluaka Beach..we could not have asked for a more lovely day. They were surrounded by a fun group of family & friends as they pledged their love for eachother. After sunset Tim & Jen had an elegant outdoor reception with lots of fun details, friends & dancing under the full moon. Thank you two for having us be a part of your day..we wish you many more years of happiness & laughter. Much Thanks to Nate for all his help.
