Back in October I had the pleasure of photographing John & Amy’s beautiful wedding at Gannon’s in Wailea. Deanne from Precious Maui Weddings did a wonderful job coordinating the event. John & Amy were so sweet together. They were calm as they headed to their ceremony but as Amy walked down the isle toward John you could see how much he adores her in his eyes. it was such a lovely ceremony held in the lower wedding knoll. They said their I do’s as a small group of family and friends looked on. After the ceremony we headed down to Po’olenalena beach for some sunset photos. It was such a nice evening. Their reception was held on the lower lawn area of the grounds. It was an elegant evening with many touching speeches and well wishes from all. Thank you so much John & Amy for having us capture your special day. We wish you many happy years to com. Thank you to Sasha Prince for all her help.
Here is a few of my favorite images from the day + a slide show =)

I met Crystal at the Maui Bridal Fair back in July and was so happy that she chose me to capture her and Robert’s special day. We started the morning with a few getting ready shots of Crystal. Her hair was beautifully done by Dan Sanchez and her flawless makeup by Liz of Maui Makeup Artistry. Crystal looked stunning in her Maggie Soterro Gown. They tied the knot at the Maui Tropical Plantation surrounded by a lovely group of family and friends. Pia gave a wonderful ceremony filled with a few tears of joy and lots of heartfelt laughter. Congratulations Crystal & Rob! It was such a pleasure to be able to capture your day. I wish you two many more years of happiness in your new adventures as husband and wife. Much thanks to Joanna for all her help…
I was so happy to meet up with the Kitchen Family a few weeks ago in beautiful Kaanapali. Andy is a wedding photographer in California..I totally admire his edgy photojournlistic style and was excited to work with his family while they were vacationing in Maui. It is always a bit nerve wracking to photograph another photographer and just as awkward to be a photographer in front of the camera but these guys were naturals and so much fun to photograph! We only spent a little time on traditional family portraits and then I was able to capture them having fun at the beach and playing in the water. Thanks so much Kitchen Family for spending an afternoon with me..I hope you enjoyed your time in the islands…
