A few weeks back I had the pleasure of photographing Marquis & Mandira’s wedding at Paia Gardens in Paia Town. I first met up with Mandira at her families home for a few getting ready photos..when I arrived she was brushing her beautiful daughters hair. Mandira was so relaxed and didn’t seem nervous at all but instead had a very calm energy about her. She looked stunning! Her elegant dress and beautiful orchid in her hair complimented each other perfectly. We headed down to Paia where I met Marquis..he was busy handing out beautiful flower leis to their family & friends. A little bit of rain fell but cleared before the ceremony and left the grounds looking fresh & bright.
You could see the love in Marquis eyes as Mandira walked down the isle towards him..his smile said it all. Mandira’s smile stayed in place the entire afternoon. As they said their vows to each other, a few tears of joy were shed. Their two children and a nice group of family and friends were there to witness their commitment to each other.
After the ceremony we headed to the beach for a few fun portraits. As the sun was setting the Bridal party was introduced and their reception began.
We had beautiful light, a gorgeous couple, adorable keiki & two people so in love they glowed..what more could I ask for! Thank you so much Mandira & Marquis..it was an honor to capture your memories. You have a beautiful family & we wish you two many more years of happiness together.
