I had the opportunity a few weeks back to meet up with a few other photographers for the monthly Pictage User Group meeting. It was such a fun opportunity to be creative and network at the same time. We have such a nice community of photographers on Maui! Chris and Danoucha are recently engaged and came along to be our models for the evening. We meet up in Kula at the Kula Lodge and then headed to a field
off the side of the road for some yummy, golden light and very cool cow pastures. Thanks so much to Mike Adrian for putting these meetings together! Congratulations Chris & Danoucha..thank you so much for allowing us all to photograph you. You two make a beautiul couple.

I had the pleasure of working with Kinsey & Jake on Saturday morning. We met up at Big Beach in Makena and ended up at Secret Cove. It was a beautiful morning with blue skies and slight trade winds. I love morning portrait sessions…the water is so blue and if you start early enough it is nice and cool. The waves were gigantic so we were able to capture some dramatic pictures with waves crashing. Jake and Kinsey were a pleasure to photograph. I am very excited to shoot their wedding on 10-10-10..Thanks so much you two for meeting up with Joanna and I. Congratulations on your engagement…

I had the opportunity to shoot with Joanna Tano a few weeks ago at the Olowalu Plantation House. Brittany & Trevor had a beautiful ceremony overlooking the ocean with a candlelit reception on the lawn to follow. Olowalu Plantation House is definitely one of my favorite locations..it has so much rustic, charm and stunning ocean views. Thanks so much Joanna for letting me tag along. Congratulations Brittany & Trevor..your day turned out lovely =)
