I was very excited to work with Ian & Beth a few weeks ago. I first met Beth at the Ritz Carlton in Kapalua for a few getting ready photos. When I arrived Beth was just finishing up with her makeup. Jessica Waite did an amazing job..Beth was glowing with anticipation. The ladies all shared a glass of champagne before they helped Beth into her stunning gown. Once ready we were all off to the ceremony. Ian arrived with his groomsmen and mingled with the arriving guests. He looked very handsome and stayed calm and collected as he waited for the ceremony to begin. Ian & Beth were married with a warm group of family and friends surrounding them. We headed to Merriman’s Restaurant over looking Kapalua bay for the after party. What a beautiful spot for a reception! As the guests were enjoying cocktails, live music and Hula dancers we slipped away for a few romantic sunset portraits on the beach. Ian & Beth were naturals in front of the camera! It was a pleasure to photograph them. Fran & Rhonda from A Royal Hawaiian Affair did an amazing job coordinating the entire day. Congratulations Ian & Beth! I was so happy to photograph Grant & Liane on their big day a few weeks back. I first captured these two and their dog Nalu at a very fun Engagement photo session at Po’olenalena Beach a few months ago and I knew their wedding was going to be fun & special. They were married at a gorgeous private estate in Makena overlooking the ocean. A wonderful group of family and friends gathered for the afternoon ceremony. A few tears of joy rolled down Liane’s face as she walked down the isle towards Grant. You could see in Grants eyes how in love he is with his beautiful bride. Grant & Liane are very detail oriented and made many of the decorations themselves which made their entire day very unique and personal. After they said “I Do” we spent some time on the grounds of the estate for some photos then headed to Kihei Community Center for a large reception. Thank you so much grant & Liane for having us capture your day. Nate & I wish you many years of happiness, adventure and fun as husband and wife.
