Efren & Levy ~ Haiku Mill, Maui

I was very excited for Efren & Levy’s wedding to happen. I first worked with them for their engagement session in Oahu and we had a blast! Efren & Levy were married at the amazing Haiku Mill in Haiku, Maui. This has to be my favorite location that I have shot at to date! What an awesome place. The day started with Levy and her girls getting ready at the Mama’s Fish House Cottages. Levy was such a stunning bride, Efren looked very handsome as well. They decided to do most of their portraits before the ceremony. They had a very sweet 1st look outside the cottage with their bridal party surrounding them. We went on to the Mill for a few more portraits and a breathtaking ceremony full of tears and laughter. Musicians Ben & Malia came over from Oahu to play for the ceremony and cocktail hour..they are very talented musicians. Jon from Digital Audio Vision put together a very fun slide show for everyone to enjoy..he does such a good job! I felt so honored to be there to capture all of Efren & Levy’s love and joy that they shared that special day. Levy has such an great attention to detail…everything was perfect. Special thanks to Joanna for flying in from Oahu to help me. Congratulation Efren & Levy! I hope that you have much more fun, laughter and joy in you new life as husband and wife..

A few favorites from the day..don’t miss the slide show at the end :) ..

The Kitchen Family ~ Kaanapali Beach

I was so happy to meet up with the Kitchen Family a few weeks ago in beautiful Kaanapali. Andy is a wedding photographer in California..I totally admire his edgy photojournlistic style and was excited to work with his family while they were vacationing in Maui. It is always a bit nerve wracking to photograph another photographer and just as awkward to be a photographer in front of the camera but these guys were naturals and so much fun to photograph! We only spent a little time on traditional family portraits and then I was able to capture them having fun at the beach and playing in the water. Thanks so much Kitchen Family for spending an afternoon with me..I hope you enjoyed your time in the islands…

Matt & Keara ~ Po’olenalena Beach

I met up with Matt and Keara for a few portraits last week. We headed over to one of my favorite spots, Po’olenalena Beach in Wailea. We had nice calm weather after a tropical depression passed by a few days before. These two were a pleasure to photograph, so mellow and easy going, they were naturals in front of the camera. Thank you so much Matt & Keara for spending the evening with me! I hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay in the islands..
