Simplicity ~ Invitations…

I was so happy to meet up with Janet again a few weeks ago. She is launching a new website to showcase her gorgeous custom invitations. I photographed Janet & Henson’s wedding last year at the beautiful Grand Wailea Resort. She made all of her own invitations and favors…I am sure with a little help from Henson :) I am excited to have a tiny part in her new website. Her work is elegant, creative and fun with a touch of sparkle

Stephen & Ericka ~ Kapalua Bay

I had the pleasure of working with Stephen & Ericka last week in Kapalua. We met a year ago when they were here for a scouting trip. I was really looking forward to their wedding day. They are such a sweet couple! The rainy day did not seem to dampen their excitement at all. They had an intimate ceremony while their families circled around them. After the ceremony we stayed for a few portraits and then headed up to the Kapalua Plantation House for their reception dinner. Musician Jamie Lawrence was their to share his wonderful talent. Thank you Stephen & Ericka for having us be a part of your special day. We wish you two the best. Much thanks to Joanna for her help…

Matt & Heather ~ Upcountry, Maui

I realize I have been a bit slow with my blog posting lately. I am usually very quick but March and April seemed to have blurred in to each other with me running behind trying to catch up:) Enough about me…

I had the opportunity to work with Matt & Heather on April 4th. They were married “Upcountry” in Makawao. I am partial to this part of the island because I live there. I think it is one of the most beautiful spots on the island :) It turned out to be a fantastic day after some sprinkles of rain. The rain made everything fresh and vibrant for us. After the wedding we went to Seabury Hall and The Heleakala Dairy for some fun portraits. Matt and Heather are such a wonderful couple. I was honored to be a part of their special day. Congratulations you two! Nate and I wish you many fun and happy years together. Much thats to Nate , my hubby for helping me…

Terry & Gemma, Part 2~ Ironwoods, Kapalua

Maria and I met up with Terry and Gemma the next day for a fun day after session. We had a blast. The weather was a bit gloomy which left us with an awesomely deserted beach! The wind was gusting and we even had a bit of rain…it didn’t matter..these two are so much fun. Thank you Terry and Gemma for spending 2 days with us! We wish you two much fun and many adventures in you new life as husband and wife…

Terry & Gemma ~ Napili Bay, Part 1

I had the pleasure to work with Terry and Gemma twice last week. The 1st was their wedding day. We met in Napili at the Napili Kai Resort. They tied the knot overlooking beautiful Napili Bay. We had a bright sunny evening with a vibrant sunset. Gemma had such a contagious energy..it was awesome. Their affection and love for each other was such a joy to capture. After a few portraits on the beach they enjoyed a romantic dinner for two as the sun set. Thank you Gemma and Terry for having me be a part of your special day. Thanks also to Maria for helping me…
