Francis & Nalu ~ Po’olenalena Beach, Wailea

I had the pleasure of meeting up with Francis & Nalu yesterday evening for an engagement session. We met just before sunset at Po’olenalena Beach in Wailea. We were so pleased to have gorgeous, calm weather and a brilliant sunset. They brought along their beautiful twin girls so we were able to get a few family portraits as well. Francis and Nalu were so natural and easy to work with..their love for each other was so refreshing to capture. Thanks you guys for spending the evening with Joanna and I. Thanks to Joanna for her help We always have a blast when we work together. We had a bit of fun with off camera lighting this time. Francis and Nalu, Congratulations on your engagement. You have a beautiful family and I am really looking forward to your wedding next month…

Jean & Sherri ~ Ironwoods, Kapalua…

I had the opportunity to work with Jean and Sherri this past weekend. We met up at Ironwoods Beach in Kapalua. The day had been quite stormy on my side of the island but once we got to Kapalua the sky’s were clear and the sun was shining. Jean & Sherri were joined by a nice group of family and friends to share in their special day. They had a touching ceremony that was full of laughter and a few tears. After the ceremony we stayed for a few portraits then headed to the Mai Tai Lounge on Front Street in Lahaina for their reception dinner. Fran from A Royal Hawaiian Affair Event Planners did a wonderful job. Everything turned out lovely. Thank you Jean & Sherri for having Nate and I be a part of you day. Congratulation!….
