Bill & Jessie :: Po’olenalena Beach, Maui Wedding

Bill and Jessie tied the knot a few weeks ago at one of my favorite locations, Po’olenalena Beach in Wailea. A small group of friends shared their special day with them. They had a lovely ceremony with waves crashing behind them. We started with a few group photos and after the ceremony we had tons of time for portraits of just the two of them. It was a bright, lovely day with a stunning sunset to end the evening. Bill and Jessie were so easy to photograph..they are naturals! They love for each other was such a joy to capture. Congratulations Bill and Jessie..it was so nice meeting and working with you two. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in Maui. Thanks to Joanna for all her help…

The Simpson Family :: Kailua Beach Park Portraits

While I was in Oahu last month I was able to meet up with family friends that were visiting from Oregon. We met up at Kailua Beach in the morning for some fun family pics. The boys are so cute. Giovanni has grown into a little man since I had seen him last. He had a constant smile on his adorable face.. This was my 1st time meeting Joao and what a doll! They were both so mellow and easy to photograph. Thanks so much Keoni & Sofia for meeting up with me..I am so glad that it all worked out and I was able to spend a bit of time with your beautiful family! Can’t wait to see you back in Hawaii soon.

Sam & Ka Ying :: Maui Engagement Photography

I met up with Sam & Ka Ying back in November at one of my favorite spots, Po’olenlena Beach in Wailea. We had a storm pass pass through the islands so we had to reschedule our first appointment but I am glad we did. We ended up with a calm, warm evening that ended with a colorful sunset. Sam proposed to Ka Ying on Big Beach a few days before our session and surprised her with engagement photos! What a romantic guy =) These two were so nice to photograph..calm and collected yet the sweetness in their smiles and kisses really showed their love for each other. We walked all around the beach capturing all of the different elements. The sunset was beautiful. Thank you so much Sam & Ka Ying for allowing me to be part of your special visit to Maui. Congratulations on your engagement! Happy wedding planning.

Matthew & Hannah ~ Molokai Wedding Photography

A few weeks ago I had the awesome opportunity to fly over to Molokai to photograph Matthew & Hannah’s wedding. It was quite an adventure. Nate & I flew over on a 9 seat prop plane! I had never been on a tiny little plane before so I was a bit nervous to say the least. The flight was smooth and in no time we were driving through Kaunakakai headed to the ceremony. Being in Molokai is like stepping back in time! Matthew & Hannah were surrounded by a wonderful group of family and friends as they declared their love for each other and said “I Do”. After the ceremony and a few portraits we headed to the west side of the island. Their reception was held at a private estate overlooking Papohaku Beach. We headed to the beach for a few more portraits before the reception started. We had the beach all to ourselves. They enjoyed their dinner under the stars as hula dancers danced to live music. It was such a lovely evening! Matthew & Hannah were so much fun to work with..Hannah had a very relaxed air about her and was always laughing and Matthew smiled each time he saw Hannah’s beautiful smile and heard her soft laugh. Thank you Matthew & Hannah for allowing us to be a part of your special day. Nate & I wish you much joy, laughter & adventure in the years to come.

I have a ton of images to share from this beautiful event!
