Bill & Michele ~ Westin, Kaanapali

I met up with Bill and Michele at the lovely Westin Kaanapali. Bill and Michele were renewing their vows in celebration of their 10 year wedding anniversary. 10 years ago they were married at the same spot. Their vow renewal ceremony was very sweet. There were a few tears and lots of kissing :) . We went on to Kapalua Bay for some fun beach portraits. Bill and Michele were a pleasure to work with. They were very natural in front of the camera. Congratulations you two! Thank you for having me capture your special day…

They were married in Wailuku and had a gorgeous reception at the King Kamehameha Golf Course in Wailuku. Eric & Janet were surround by a large group of family and friends. Their day turned out lovely. Thank you two for having us be a part of your day…

Brooks & Lisa ~ Lani Kohonua

I had the opportunity to work with Brooks & Lisa this past weekend. They were married on Sunday, October 5th at Lanikohonua. We started our day in Ko’olina at the Ihilani Resort.  What a stunning location! These two decided to do most of their portraits before the ceremony. I think this is a great idea. It gives couples more time to enjoy their reception after the ceremony. This group kept me laughing all evening. They were so much fun to work with. Thank you Lisa & Brooks for having us as part of your day. Nate and I wish you much fun, laughter and love in you new life together as husband and wife…

Lisa was radiant…

Brooks looked very handsome as well…

The ladies were so lovely…

A very fun group of guys…

The details at this wedding were so pretty. I was in detail heaven :)

The ceremony begins…

Portrait time. These two are gorgeous…

More reception details…

I love how Lisa cleaned up the mess she made :)

These are the guys that kept me laughing all evening. They called me “photo girl” :) haha! I am still laughing! The MC was a comedian/local DJ that happened to know Nate from grade school so that was fun too. Yes, I even agreed to be in photo with all of the goofy guys…

Chris & Tia ~ Hale Koa, Waikiki

Chris & Tia were married on October 4th on the grounds of the beautiful Hale Koa Hotel in Waikiki. What a lovely location! They were surrounded by a wonderful group of family and friends as they tied the knot. These two were a pleasure to work with. They had a very fun and interactive reception Thanks to Marino of Ninja Entertainment. They had a few games that included all of the guests and a reverse garter toss…very funny! Thank you Tia and Chris for having Nate and I capture your special day. We wish you much happiness for many years to come. Congratulations!

Tia’s dress was so beautiful…

The flower girls were such cuties! They were so willing to pose for me…

The lovely Ladies…

The handsome Guys…

The ceremony begins…

A few of the ladies had very vibrant tatoo’s. I couldn’t resist capturing them :)

I now pronounce you husband and wife…

This group shot made me smile. As I was capturing the whole group, Nate caught poor little Ava who had had quite enough of picture taking…

Such a beautiful new family…

A few portraits…

I loved the details and the “fall” colors of this reception…

I was able to take a few more maternity portraits of my sister-in-law Charme’. We went to Kamaole II Beach Park in Kihei. It was super windy but we decided to just go with it :) ..Jason, my brother, joined us for some photos this time. Kila Kila, my nephew, was there also but was having to much fun playing with my boys in the sand. It has been so awesome to be able to capture this pregnancy and hopefully birth ( if I am in town) for my own family. It is so special…
