I had the pleasure of working with Tim & Jen on 11-11-11 at the beautiful Makena Resort on the south side of the island. We met up the day before their wedding to talk about photo locations and walk around the resort. I was so excited to work with these two. I could just tell they were going to be a fun couple to photograph..The day of the wedding was a blue, breezy afternoon. I met up with Jen just as she was finishing up her makeup ..the room was abuzz with nervous, excitement. Jen looked beautiful! Her mom helped her get into her gown & after a few portraits we headed to the Makena resort for 1st look photos.  Tim was anxiously awaiting our arrival in the garden..First look moments are so special to capture on camera. After a few portraits we were ready for the ceremony to begin. The said their I do’s on the lawn overlooking Maluaka Beach..we could not have asked for a more lovely day. They were surrounded by a fun group of family & friends as they pledged their love for eachother. After sunset Tim & Jen had an elegant outdoor reception with lots of fun details, friends & dancing under the full moon. Thank you two for having us be a part of your day..we wish you many more years of happiness & laughter. Much Thanks to Nate for all his help.

I met up with Eric & Marissa on a bright, sunny evening at Makena Cove..the waves were so big that day and for a few days prior that most of the sand in the cove had been washed away. I was a bit worried at first but as we walked down the path we realized there was a lovely little patch of sand in the middle of the cove and we had it all to ourselves! Eric & Marissa were such an easygoing couple to work with, we laughed a bit and there smiles came naturally. They seemed so comfortable in front of my camera, a pleasure to photograph. We walked around the area a bit to find trees & some natural elements to work with then headed back to the secret cove for a warm, colorful sunset…it was a really nice evening photographing two beautiful people in love. Thank you so much Eric & Marissa for having me capture some special memories for you.
